This request is for records pertaining to the enforcement of Art 5 of the SF Transportation Code for the abatement of abandoned vehicles.  In response to my previous request No. 20-950, I received a spreadsheet of complaints (attached).  In discussion with Mr. Larry Kessler I was advised that to obtain specific records I would need to provide specific addresses.  This request is accordingly submitted.

These vehicles are in my neighborhood and are ones which I have myself noticed as being “abandoned” under Art 5.   Thus, I’m particularly interested to understand the reasons they were not abated by DPH, and to which outside agency and individual the first one was referred to.   Accordingly, I respectfully request that the response include, to the extent the information is available, records which provide the above information.

I appreciate that the DPH’s resources for public records requests may be diminished at this time.  Thus, I understand that it may take longer than the 10 days set forth by the statute.
